The Mid Jersey Heat Basketball program (MJH) is a non-profit youth organization staffed entirely by volunteers. We have been established for 4-years. MJH is an AAU-affiliated organization for girls and boys in the central shore area of Ocean County, New Jersey. Our program offers a higher level of competition than is not offered in recreational basketball leagues. Our main objective is to provide "pre-, mid and after-season" play for girls and boys who are committed to basketball and who wish to improve their skills.

This year, the MJH program is sponsoring approximately five girls teams and five boys between he ages of 10 and 18. The season starts from September to July. The cost is $4000 per team, $400 per player. This includes a minimum of 10 tournaments, 2 leagues, equipment, insurance, and uniforms. League play can be in the fall, winter, spring, and/or summer.

The Heat will compete on a highly competitive AAU, YBOA, USBA, and non-AAU level. We will be competing in tournaments in the Metropolitan area. Our teams maintain an intensive indoor practice and training schedule throughout the year. We are currently raising funds in order to help pay for these costs. We are asking for your support in helping these players receive all they possibly can from their love of basketball.
